"For being recorded in a bedroom, with a one-way microphone swiped from a karaoke set, a nearly broken amp, a half ounce of grass and a vast sea of pills you couldn't fathom, i'd say it was a success for a debut album. I even got to catch a glimpse of my own drugged-out deterioration, e.g. on tracks 'Bring the Gun to Court', and 'The Getting Really Fucking High Again Song', it was certainly an experience to record. You can't tell as much on the record itself, as the tracks are in a disorganized fashion from the time recorded, but I started a month by month drug bender to record this album. So it's interesting to listen to now, because I don't even remember making half of this shit.."
